Victory 10: Our Choice for Long Orlando Days

If comfort and longevity are your biggest priorities, start with the Victory 10.

This is especially true for a traditional Walt Disney World or Universal Orlando vacation.

Think about what a theme-park day can actually look like.

You may leave your resort early in the morning, spend the entire day traveling between attractions, restaurants, stores and different areas of the park, and not return until after the nighttime entertainment.

That's a completely different job from using a mobility scooter for a short trip to a restaurant or shopping center.

The Victory is designed for those longer days.

Its larger design allows for a bigger, more comfortable seating arrangement and our extended-range battery setup. Our Victory scooters also feature our upgraded adjustable Captain's Chair, which can make a significant difference when you're spending hours at a time on your scooter.

For the average Orlando theme-park vacation, our Victory 10 3-Wheel offers the best combination of comfort, battery life and maneuverability.

The single front wheel gives the scooter a tighter turning radius than the four-wheel version.

That matters more at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando than you might expect.

You're constantly navigating crowded pathways, attraction queues, resort elevators, restaurants, stores, transportation areas and tight corners.

A scooter that can make a tighter turn is simply easier to maneuver through those environments.

Three wheels also shouldn't automatically be viewed as less desirable than four. For many guests, the opposite is true.

Both configurations are designed as mobility scooters, but the 3-wheel layout gives you an important advantage in maneuverability.

Choose the Victory 10 3-Wheel if:

You want excellent comfort and battery capacity for long days while still having great maneuverability.

For a guest staying at a Disney or Universal resort, using resort transportation and spending full days in the parks, this would generally be our first recommendation.

Victory 10 4-Wheel: Long-Day Comfort With Four Wheels

The Victory 10 4-Wheel serves essentially the same type of guest but provides a four-wheel configuration.

Some riders simply feel more comfortable having two wheels in front.

If that's you, the Victory 10 4-Wheel gives you the comfort, seating and battery advantages of the Victory platform in the configuration you prefer.

The primary compromise is maneuverability.

A four-wheel scooter requires more room to make a tight turn. On a wide pathway through EPCOT, that isn't a major concern.

Inside a busy store, attraction queue or packed resort elevator, you'll notice it more.

Choose the Victory 10 4-Wheel if:

You want the comfort and battery capacity of the Victory but personally prefer a four-wheel configuration.

If you have no preference between three and four wheels, we generally recommend the 3-wheel version because of its tighter turning radius.

Yes, You Can Transport a Victory in a Vehicle

Like the Go-Go Sport, the Victory can be separated into multiple components for transportation.

The difference is weight and size.

When disassembled, the heaviest section of a Victory 10 3-Wheel is approximately 54 pounds.

That means an able-bodied person may be able to disassemble and transport it, but you're still dealing with larger and heavier components. You'll also need enough cargo space, and a hatchback, SUV or similarly sized vehicle will generally make transportation easier.

So if you only need to transport the scooter occasionally during your vacation, the Victory can absolutely still be an option.

If you expect to load and unload the scooter from a vehicle every day, however, that's where the Go-Go Sport becomes much more appealing.

Go-Go Sport: The Best Middle Ground

The Go-Go Sport is probably the easiest scooter in our lineup to misunderstand.

It's not simply a smaller Victory, and it's not trying to compete with our ultra-lightweight foldable scooter either.

Instead, the Go-Go Sport gives you a great balance between portability and the comfort and functionality of a traditional mobility scooter.

It can be quickly disassembled into separate pieces, making it considerably easier for an able-bodied person to load into a vehicle.

The difference in weight is significant.

The heaviest section of the Go-Go Sport 3-Wheel is approximately 36 pounds.

The heaviest section of the Go-Go Sport 4-Wheel is approximately 44 pounds.

Compare that with approximately 54 pounds for the heaviest section of a Victory 10 3-Wheel.

That difference becomes pretty noticeable when you're lifting the scooter in and out of a vehicle repeatedly.

But unlike choosing the smallest foldable scooter possible, you're not giving up as much in terms of traditional scooter comfort, seating or battery capability.

That's why we consider the Go-Go Sport the best compromise between portability, comfort and battery life.

Go-Go Sport 3-Wheel

If you want a portable scooter while maintaining maximum maneuverability, choose the Go-Go Sport 3-Wheel.

Its heaviest disassembled section is only about 36 pounds, making it much easier to load into a vehicle than a full-size Victory.

The 3-wheel configuration also provides an excellent turning radius, which is particularly useful once you arrive at the theme parks.

Choose the Go-Go Sport 3-Wheel if:

You expect to transport your scooter frequently but still want a traditional scooter with a comfortable seat, good battery capability and excellent maneuverability.

Go-Go Sport 4-Wheel

The Go-Go Sport 4-Wheel gives you the same basic portability advantage but with two wheels in front.

Lightweight Foldable Scooter: Maximum Portability

Then there's our smallest option.

Our Lightweight Foldable Scooter takes a completely different approach to transportation.

Instead of disassembling the scooter into several components, the entire scooter folds into one compact unit.

At approximately 45 pounds including its battery, it is dramatically lighter than a traditional full-size mobility scooter.

That makes it our best option when weight, storage space and ease of transportation are your biggest concerns.

You don't have to remove a seat, separate the frame and organize multiple pieces in the vehicle.

There's a reason every scooter isn't built this way.

Making a scooter extremely light and compact means reducing the size of other components as well.

The seat is smaller and simpler than what you'll find on the Victory or Go-Go, and the battery system is designed around keeping the scooter lightweight.

Unlike our traditional GMS scooters, the foldable scooter also does not come with our regular accessory package.

Maxima 3-Wheel: Heavy-Duty Doesn't Mean Hard to Maneuver

At the other end of our lineup is the Maxima 3-Wheel.

The Maxima is our heavy-duty mobility scooter, offering a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds along with a larger seating area and a platform designed specifically to accommodate guests who need additional room and capacity.

But don't let its size fool you.

The Maxima is still a 3-wheel scooter, and it turns extremely well for a scooter of its size.

That's an important distinction.

Being a larger, heavy-duty scooter doesn't mean you have to give up the maneuverability that's so useful in Orlando's theme parks.

Its 3-wheel configuration gives the Maxima an excellent turning ability for a scooter in its class, making it much easier than you might expect to navigate pathways, stores, restaurants, resort areas and other tighter environments.

So if you're worried that choosing a heavy-duty scooter automatically means ending up with something difficult to maneuver, that's not the case with the Maxima.

Who Should Choose the Maxima?

The Maxima isn't simply a bigger scooter for someone who thinks bigger is better.
